I have an upper plate and dental implants (snap on) on the
bottom---I have not been happy with the fit and have been back to dentist several times
for re-lining etc...I have had persistent throat pain (5 months)---could this be linked to
dentures? I am going to ENT next week, and would like to be aware of any problems that
could be caused by ill fitting dentures---I am also considering having dental implant
surgery but would like to have any input on throat problems...Thank you. I am not aware of throat problems arising from dentures. If the dentures cause you to breathe through your mouth more than usual, or are affecting your swallowing mechanism, there could be some correlation possible. Also, please make sure to routinely clean your denture to remove any bacteria which you might otherwise be exposed to on a regular basis. |
