I just wonder if I'd be needing an DENTAL IMPLANT if my broken
dry tooth comes out LONG before my natural teeth come out. There are several possible options for you should you ever lose your root canal treated tooth. These include a bridge in which the teeth on either side of that tooth are crowned and a bonded false porcelain tooth replaces the missing one. An implant is also often a viable option whereby a post is placed in the area of the missing tooth and a crown is attached to it. Sometimes, we can also design what is called a 'Maryland Bridge' in which a false tooth is bonded into the area of the missing tooth via plates which extend to the back-side of the adjacents teeth. |
