There are number of factors to look for in determining the best treatment for the gap, or diastema, between your teeth. Depending on the size of the gap and if its size changes with time, you may benefit from simple tooth colored fillings, veneers, crowns, or even braces. You may expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred dollars for tooth colored fillings into the thousands for veneers or crowns. Since you also mention the shade of your teeth, you may also be interested in bleaching your teeth. This is often completed prior to your new fillings or crowns for a proper match of your new teeth. You may expect to pay hundreds of dollars more for the bleaching treatment you receive. If these treatments are purely of a cosmetic nature, you may also not be covered by dental insurance.
